I am a qualified and experienced teacher offering personalised lesson plans to students in Northern Ireland. I’ve been teaching students of all ages and levels since 2003. I love teaching and am committed to helping students discover and reach their full potential.
ABOUT ME
I recognise the potential in each one of my students. Every child is different and, therefore, each lesson is designed specifically with that individual in mind. Lessons involve practical activities, games, practice papers, supported written work and self-assessment. I’m a patient, adaptable, and professional teacher with 17 years experience in Key Stages 1-4. I am ready to help your child reach his/her goals. I make learning fun through a variety of engaging and outside-the-box activities. Teaching is a skill, but great teaching is more of an art that only a few can master.
ONE-ON-ONE LESSONS
Individual attention for all ages
Every student benefits from some one-to-one time. Teaching in this way allows me to get to know the specific needs of your child. I can then create lessons and resources that will help the child to focus on these areas and gain a better understanding. Lessons can be created for children of all primary school ages and abilities; and up to GCSE English, English Literature and Drama.

TRANSFER TESTS
AQE and GL preparation
I can guide your child through AQE and /or GL papers, in order to ensure they feel comfortable with the type of questions that may be asked. Teachers need to be able to motivate and guide students to success. As an experienced teacher, I can identify students’ problem areas and work with them in positive, constructive ways to achieve success. I design my lessons according to my students’ needs, with an emphasis on confidence-boosting activities.
