HOW IT WORKS

I believe that children always work better if they are comfortable in their environment. For this reason, I always offer to work with the child in their own home. If, for any reason, this is unsuitable, then the child is welcome to meet me at my home or another mutually agreeable venue.

If preferred, I am also happy to offer online sessions via Zoom.

Creating a caring, relaxed and stimulating environment is extremely important. Children will only begin to learn when they feel content and valued. Fun activities, such as memory games or puzzles, play an important role in promoting a relaxing atmosphere and one in which the child begins to realise that learning can be enjoyable!

Plenty of verbal praise and resources such as star charts, help to promote a realisation that they CAN do their work, they are ABLE to learn and that education is NOT intimidating!
